ThreadMark is my signature design philosophy, where each garment becomes a vessel of story. It is my couture process for designing garments that carry meaning. Each piece is more than fabric- it's a legacy woven in stitches, born from memory, love, and personal story.
Are you dreaming of a garment stitched with meaning? Whether it's a wedding dress, a remembrance suit, a debutante gown, or a piece passed down, ThreadMark begins here.

The story of this dress begins in the late 1800s.
I was commissioned to create a garment inspired by the great-grandmother of the current president of a local home decor fabric company—its original founder—during her travels through Europe. The dress was designed to honor her legacy and reflect the spirit of that era for display during the Spring 2019 Furniture Market.
I was given five fabrics from the company’s current collection, along with prints of artwork by an Italian artist whose work had influenced the founder's taste. After studying the art and doing further research, I determined that the silhouette would best represent an 1872 Bustle Day Dress.
The final ensemble includes:
An underskirt
A skirt apron
A bustled overskirt
A lined riding jacket with couture finishes
The jacket features a ruffled neckline, triple-tiered sleeve hems, and fabric-covered buttons. Both the jacket and overskirt are trimmed in a lush wide-wale corduroy—a standout texture among the fabrics I was given. It was a joy to work with such beautiful materials, and to weave history and legacy into every seam.
The Reese's Green McGillicuddy Dress Suit- It was the Best Overall winner in the Threads Garment Challenge 2021 The Details of the lines and silhouette are born from my default inspiration of the 50's. The color and certain details are inspiration by my little boy Reese. You can read more about the garment and challenge winner by clicking here.
The Falling Into Winter Lucille coat was the Most Holistic category winner of Threads Garment Challenge 2023. It was inspired by two dimensional art from my youngest son Reese. We took a painting class together two days before he went back into the hospital for Leukemia. The painting was of Birch trees in the fall. On the outside of the coat I hand stitched silk blend yarns into the hem to mimic falling leaves and had both of our paintings printed on satin for the lining. My painting is on the inside back as if to support my little boy. His painting is on the inside front. You can read more about it by clicking here.
The Midnight Gold Remembrance Dress was the Best Overall winner for Threads Garment Challenge 2024. The main inspiration for this creation stems from Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. I darkened the blue to a midnight blue and used a more antique gold to lean more into Childhood Cancer Awareness. Once again, I used lines of my natural inspirations from the 50's and "I Love Lucy". It is a one-piece dress with a faux jacket wrap right front, a circular overlay, and embellishments consisting of gold metallic tulle, sequins, glass beads, and feathers. "The Grand Masked Ball of Versailles"
This piece was created for a delightfully unique occasion: an all-night Baroque masquerade held annually at the Orangery of The Chateau de Versailles. Amanda commissioned me to create a historically inspired justaucorps (a style similar to an 18th-century frock coat) for her husband, Marc, to wear to the Grand Masked Ball alongside their friends.
She selected a floral-embossed satin jacquard for the outer layer, paired with a blush champagne silk lining. To elevate the design further, she chose an embellished lace—delicately adorned with sequins and beads—which I carefully cut apart and appliqued along the front opening, collar, front pocket flaps, and across the back where the details cascade gracefully toward the hem.
From the photos, I think you'll agree—he looked striking.
